Today Im going to discuss what a zero day vulnerability is.
A zero day vulnerability refers to a gap / hole that is unknown to the vendor. Normally this kind of vulnerabilities a found out by attackers and attack it before the vendor gets to know about it,these kind of attacks are known as Zero day Attacks.Examples of zero day attacks are
- Spyware
- Malware
- Unwanted access to the system
The developers should always be alert on the vulnerabilities of their products as once its known to the attackers first it would be a race between the developers and the attackers to protect and attack.
